Following the successful launch and completion of the clients main commercial space by Paula Gundry, we were subsequently also commissioned to renovate the attached penthouse apartment.
The penthouse apartment was a space for clients from out of town to stay, it was given a warm and welcoming feel throughout with flooring, decoration, furniture and lighting. The design included the supply furniture, fittings and lighting, even down to decorative accessories, ensuring the apartment was fully dressed and ready for the imminent arrival of its guests.
“When I saw The Old Bank of England building I was both excited and terrified on how much there was to do if I was to carry out what I had in mind. My brief to Paula Gundry interiors was to bring back the history of the building with a fabulous opulent feel with a nod to architecture and property. Sowerbys are known for dealing in the mid to high end market and therefore our offices should reflect this. As to the Sowerbys Loft this was to give a real City chic feel for our clients to enjoy and relax while they stay. I can’t say enough how impressed I have been with Paula and her team as they really understood the project and had great input right from the beginning. They dealt with every trade and came up with not only beautiful ideas but also practicable and cost saving ones. I am so proud of what we have managed to create and I welcome anybody to visit to see first hand what a fabulous job Paula and her team achieved.
I would not hesitate in recommending Paula Gundry interiors to anyone who asks.”
